Catherine uses empathy and reﬂective listening to facilitate the therapy process. She works in an emphatic, nonjudgmental manner, creating a safe space for the client to begin to build trust in themselves and the therapeutic process. Although the process can be challenging, Catherine provides humor, hope and a relaxed, authentic interaction as she assists the client in achieving their therapeutic goals.
Catherine received her undergraduate degree in Sociology at UCLA and her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. She has over 18 years experience in the ﬁeld of Psychology. She became licensed in the state of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2005, at which time she established her private practice. In addition to her private practice, Catherine has worked in various clinical settings, garnering extensive experience in the areas of addiction, recovery and relationship issues. Over the years, she has worked with many couples, families and individuals through the many challenges of major life transitions.
Service fees are $200 per 50 minute therapy session.
Note: Catherine does not accept insurance. Although she is an out-of-network provider, monthly statements are supplied to the client for partial reimbursement of the session fee if their insurance coverage includes a PPO plan.
